On his day Steve was a very good player. Pretty sure he won a PC event and not many can claim that.
He's also played in the PDC worlds a few times both at the circus Tavern & Ally Pally anyone who made them 7 times over an 8 year span is a pretty tidy player he's slo never been know to miss a bin with a dart either :)
And who can forget him beating the reigning 2005 World Matchplay Champion Colin Lloyd in the first round in 2006

That really was a kind of magic.

I was there the following day with standing tickets and as Lloyd wasn't sticking around he told the bouncers to give his table by the stage away.
Cracking seats for the afternoon session courtesy of this result. :D

Have to say find it strange that posters resort to slagging Maish, when they are totally unaware of him winning a PC event and performing to the level he did on the 2nd biggest stage in World darts.

Always found him good company. Think Ginge once marked a game for him, Maishy then gave him a fiver and said "Thanks".

I get 12.435 million.

Is the PDC helping out with prize money on affiliated tours?
It could be the Scandinavian and Eastern Europe ones.
Question has been asked of them on Twitter :D
Don't think prize money on these affiliated tours is around 1.5 million haha

I know this is a crazy idea, but I used the PDC's Contact Us page to ask about the discrepancy.

Here's one for you Maishy also played Tony Eccles at the world's can you think of any other game where people have met in the worlds who have subsequently gone on to serve time at her majesty's pleasure ?

Closest I can think of is Taylor facing off Klaasen the other year at Ally Pally

Given neither was even close to serving time, your comparison is well off. ;-)

Chris Mason v Taylor is closer with a little more thought

Les Wallace could be in with a shot as well if he has played someone

Any reply from the PDC on the missing 1.5 million?
