The standard will never be PDC standard..the last PDC World championship was awesome in my mind and this will never live up to that standard wise, those days have long gone....some of the games have been a bit iffy standard wise to be honest but it's a grower and it's got better...tonight's matches were good and the 4 players left are quality players regardless of code..
Lakeside has come across well and I still think it would be a risk to leave but people seem to think the indig02 will get good promotion so maybe it would be ok...risky though...
All in all its been pretty enjoyable..commentators are ok..production good..presentation fine..standard very mixed but it will never be the PDC now but the last 4 now could all be very decent PDC players in my opinion?
It wasn't a special World Championship. MVG was barely troubled

Welcome to the forum. Love it when newbies get stuck in straight away.

Would prefer a new winner being honest, dont mind Duzza but dont wont him equalling the 3 in a row.
It would be great and he would only be two behind Bristow's record of 5 world titles then.
Seriously? Yet another of these accounts?

I take it this is Frank Drebin returning? Although he was already a multiple.

It shows you how boring the ally pally event is, It is not even a decent warm up event for the real world championship which is Lakeside.

Proper Darts fans prefer Lakeside.

A few folks on fanatics not happy about the behaviour of the 'pdc fans ' who were in last night. Was it bad the wooing and whistles?

Talking of best of order. I watched the ladies game last night. What a myth it is about the silence when folks are throwing. Couldn't believe the noise from folks talking to each other. It got louder as the game went on. Can't bl a mm me that on the pdc.

True about MVG..but overall I enjoyed this year's PDC Worlds more than I have enjoyed a darts event for a long time...and I've seen them all since 1978 .

That argument made my head hurt

They just love harping back to the 80 s thinking the lakeside is the best tournament in the world played to the best of order in front of thousands of people

If they are in the lakeside then they are not PDC fans.
I haven't had a look but I imagine it is one or two idiots saying such a thing.
