Re: 2019 Q-School
Daz is back playing local darts round here most of the week.Lurgan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 11:36 amwhats harsh about it??Mensur Suljovic Fan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 11:33 amBit harsh on Darren, he was the first player to miss out on the Worlds via the ProTour the year before last (before the expansion), and wasn't too far again from making it last year. Boulton made the Worlds one year as well (via the PDPA qualifier admittedly)
they lost their cards
darren should have been a top player but for whatever reason. application mainly. it never happened for him, a seriously talented player who has seriously underachieved for past 15 years
Dont think he really cares anymore, hes just enjoying his darts. So long as he keeps getting his Qschool entry covered he will keep going, getting a tour card and getting the money.

Re: 2019 Q-School
2 Local players meeting each other in the last 32. Ladders 4-3 up against Thomas Lovely
Re: 2019 Q-School
dont think he ever really cared that much, hence players with a fraction of his talent achieving much more in the gameZapp Brannigan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 4:16 pmDaz is back playing local darts round here most of the week.Lurgan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 11:36 amwhats harsh about it??Mensur Suljovic Fan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 11:33 amBit harsh on Darren, he was the first player to miss out on the Worlds via the ProTour the year before last (before the expansion), and wasn't too far again from making it last year. Re: 2019 Q-School
I think he had a fair bit of confidence issues in the past, would get himself up to play the big match but then next match would lose a few legs and get himself down.Lurgan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 4:18 pmdont think he ever really cared that much, hence players with a fraction of his talent achieving much more in the gameZapp Brannigan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 4:16 pmDaz is back playing local darts round here most of the week.Lurgan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 11:36 amwhats harsh about it??Mensur Suljovic Fan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 11:33 amBit harsh on Darren, he was the first player to miss out on the Worlds via the ProTour the year before last (before the expansion), and wasn't too far again from making it last year. Re: 2019 Q-School
Seems to be the case again that those that have a season on the challenge tour and see what they have to do come to Qschool fully prepared and do a lot better than the year before.

Tbf those averages are about what you'd expect from those players. Decent enough but won't hold up in this level of darts. Not in the BDO paddling pool nowGarry Murphy wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 3:31 pm LET THE EXCUSES BEGIN
