Uncle Barry seems intent on increasing the prize monies available, talking about a £1m world championship first prize and when that happens all other prize funds will be increased - just as has happened previously so I see no reason why most of the 128 could not earn a decent wage whilst still having the opportunity (albeit a pipe dream for most) to become an instant millionaire by winning the flagship event.Lurgan wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 9:36 amthe protour cant support 128 people pretending to be professional dart playersZapp Brannigan wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 9:11 amIs anyone suggesting that, it’s stupidChrisW wrote:Don't agree with this idea that if you lose a card you shouldn't be allowed to try again.
Players get injury problems, even young ones. You can have a couple of bad years.
If you are good enough to win a card you are good enough to play the tour.
The pdc only have 64 permanent places and 4-500 people wanting to be in it, you can’t stop people that are good enough to be in the top 128 but not in the top 64.
a 64 person tour that is actually able to see 64 players earn a living is much more preferable to the current situation where people pretending there is a protour of 128 professional players

For some reason PC doesn't load the full draw. But went onto 1st 4 games on each board and couldn't see Deta. Then realised there were more games to be played.
