Hogarth beats Parletti 2-1 (Sets)

Van Egdom playing quite well and takes the first set in the 2nd semi final vs Richard Veenstra

I am always massively impressed by this tournament.

It is like a PDC event; in all but name.

I can’t help thinking they could spread the schedule out a bit better. Get the crowds in during the evening and create a proper atmosphere as well as the afternoon and schedule the final for around 9-10pm?

I agree, But i suppose they want it done earlier as people have to fly home and get ready for work the next day

Not to mention that the vast majority of people in the audience have been there as players or players' friends/family since Friday morning and probably enjoy getting home at a reasonable hour on Sunday...

At least we've been spared the usual suggestion that the PDC should somehow look at incorporating the Dutch Open into the European Tour. Baby steps.

Wow he can play. I think that match lasted less than 10 minutes!

That would’ve been a 100 average if he finished within 13-14 darts and not missed the doublez
