The 2019 PDC Premier League Competition Sponsored by Red Dragon-HOMEPAGE
The 2019 PDC PL Prediction Competition Sponsored By Red Dragon-HOMEPAGE
This thread will be updated with the current tables and rules etc.
Prizes- Red Dragon have kindly offered Three sets of darts for the competition from their catalogue - Here
I am more than happy to have an entry fee of £10 per person (if the individual wishes) and share the pot between those that have paid. I can administer this through my paypal account (fling170@gmail.com) or a direct bank transfer.
The cash prize can be paid out to a weekly winner (shared if necessary) and to the top 3 in the overall table. Actual prizes can be decided once total prize pot is known.
What to do
Each week I shall start a thread where I shall ask you to predict the scores of all the matches.
There will also be a number of bonus questions in each round to predict.
Scoring is as follows:
Correct Result - 3 points
Correct Score
6-6 = 7 points
7-5 = 6 points
7-4 = 6 points
7-3 = 8 points
7-2 = 8 points
7-1 = 9 points
7-0 = 9 points
Bonuses are worth 3 points each. In the event of a tie for the bonus question, 3 points will be awarded to each player.
The additional guest player announced to replace Gary Anderson each week will be excluded from the bonus questions.
To make it a bit more interesting the highest average will exclude the average of Michael van Gerwen.
A template will follow in a separate thread.
Good luck!
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES - each Thursday evening at 7.10pm
Smallprint
If a tie is needed to split the overall winners, then bonuses will be disregarded and the player with the highest aggregate score across all rounds excluding bonuses shall win. If still tied, the player(s) with the highest Final Night score will win in the tie.
If still tied after this, then countback will take place, based on the previous week, and so on.
The decision of myself and the site moderators are final.
A prize for a random draw may take place at the end (number of available prizes depending). This will be available to people who have predicted in at least 13 of the 17 weeks (final included). Each entrant will be given a random number and a random number generator will determine the winner. The same user cannot win the random draw and any other overall prize.
Entries made after the published deadline in each round may be accepted at my discretion, minus the bonuses and matches that have been played already.
All entries made by duplicate accounts, will be disregarded.

Re: The 2019 PDC Premier League Prediction Competition-HOMEPAGE
Thanks to Fling for running this, just to make it plain to everyone including new members, if you want to enter to win one of the darts prizes that will be confirmed a little later IT IS FREE but for those who want to add a bit of extra spice the £10 entry comp is voluntary and the cash will only be shared amongst the people who paid to enter.
Should be a very interesting PL with cash riding on it.

Re: The 2019 PDC Premier League Competition Sponsored by Red Dragon-HOMEPAGE
Is it still possible to enter the tenner comp or is it closed now?
Re: The 2019 PDC Premier League Competition Sponsored by Red Dragon-HOMEPAGE
Don't see any reason why not depending if there are any objections.
It might raise questions if someone had a good first week and then decided they wanted to chip in a tenner.
If not entered in round 1 then don't see an issue.

Re: The 2019 PDC Premier League Competition Sponsored by Red Dragon-HOMEPAGE
Attached is the cumulative scores after 2 weeks.
There are 3 sets of darts (donated by Red Dragon) up for grabs across the whole of the competition. The prize value is £40 per set but if you want more expensive darts then you can pay the difference.
My suggestion for prize split would be the top points scorer after 9 nights (Judgement night in Rotterdam), the top points scorer in nights 10 through to and including the final and 1 for the highest score overall (potentially excluding the winner of the first 2 prizes).
Sally is also donating a set of darts which I will do a random draw for. Entries for this will need to have participated in at least 13 of the 17 nights.
As for the cash entries I received £110 so was thinking of a split of £75 and £35 for the first 2 overall at the end of the competition.
Any other suggestions are appreciated.
