Nikki on the pulse then, as he is today.
Let's face it. Darts didn't miss Taylor one jot.
Good riddance.

Darts without Taylor - A future or failure?
An absolute success I would say. Needless to say, does the BDO have a future now Durrant has departed? Or since the time of the original post 6 years ago, has the BDO been a failure or a success? Waites bombing at Q School, Bunting now 17th in the world, Mitchell preferring to perfect the art of crop rotation rather than the collection of three darts within thirty seconds?

Re: Darts without Taylor - A future or failure?
Durrant has switched because of the change in BDO policy that reduced the financial risk, so I'd say yes, the BDO has a future. It finally faced reality and stopped trying to survive by trapping its best players. Now the BDO is a more welcoming place for ambitious players to play and in the long run I think it'll be better for it, as the overall standard of darts continues to improve.Sawley Al wrote: ↑Tue Feb 19, 2019 6:37 pm Darts without Taylor - A future or failure?

Anderson's back is a worry, since he's been van Gerwen's key competition, but it looks like Price is continuing to improve, Cross is bouncing back from his World Champion slump and Durrant could do some damage, which adds to the interest. And, you never know, maybe this will be Ian White's breakout year on TV.

Your first question makes no sense. Darts doesn't miss Taylor at all. A better watch without him IMHO.
Also, the game has no need for name-dropping sex offenders. Good riddance.
Re: Darts without Taylor - A future or failure?
Oh, I should add a caveat: the BDO will be better for it in the long run if they get their act together, and start by fixing the easy stuff, like the embarrassing blunder of the "Torromolinos" Facebook post.1205 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 19, 2019 7:54 pmDurrant has switched because of the change in BDO policy that reduced the financial risk, so I'd say yes, the BDO has a future.
