To make it 3 out of 4 for the "traitors", McGeeney defeated Mansell.
Whitehead lost to Adrian Lewis.

Durrant on course to lose to Alcinas: lost bull start, finally got the break to go 4-3 up, then promptly stopped scoring and was immediately broken back.

And broke again with a 10-darter. But Alcinas scored well to take darts at 4-5 and ... missed two darts. Durrant takes out 70 in 2 darts and wins.

A better game than the averages suggest: first leg was won in 25 darts, but play was much better after that.

Also note: Ian White hasn't lost a leg yet. Will play Luke Woodhouse for the board.

Barney out early to Beaton his retirement year looks like being a damp squib

Seemed like he played OK, though not great. Broke in 15. Was broken in 12 when on a double. But otherwise didn't threaten much.

Van Barneveld's problem is that because he's not playing great, he needs to play a lot of games. If he really wanted to play the World Championships, he should have turned down the Premier League to cut down on the travel. But that would have been turning down guaranteed money.

Durrant beats King 6-5 to win the board. King won the bull, Durrant just couldn't get a good leg against the darts to break. Final leg, Durrant took the darts but from 164 only scored 58, King scored 140 to leave 60. Durrant missed a dart at double-16. King missed two darts for the match and Durrant went out in 2 darts.
