Des has £700,000 of other folks money to play with, doesn't he?

Beginning to wonder if all this talk of the bdo being in dire straits was all made up?

They have been in 'Dire Straits' for the last decade.
And each year the 'next year' is when our resident accountants say it will get even direr.
It's a bit pathetic and dire.

I might as well bite. I've never said that about them financially. They live hand to mouth but they are not about to go bankrupt.
Interestingly the only people who say they were in financial dire straits was actually Paul and Des when they were trying take over.

The BDO always want Money for Nothing. That's why they are So Far Away from having sponsors, but Why Worry, Des is in charge.

You switching sides Devo?....have you seen the light?........Do you now realise the stupidity of some of your historical comments?

I bet you're the one who from an unsolicited phone call agrees to an extended warranty for their washing machine.

You corrected your own spelling, so my work is done.

As an aside, how do you turn off notifications when replies are posted on a thread? The forum seems to have started sending me a bloody email everytime posts appear in certain threads.

Yes, have changed a couple of setting to see if that works. Must have switched them on when it updated the app recently.

It's under Board Preferences I think, there are a number of options there, i only get an email if someone privately messages me, I think this is the default.

Nope, still happening on the desktop version as well as the email. This is very annoying.

Only 4 options for notifications and what is happening isnt covered by any of them. I only have email notification set up for PMs yet I am getting them all the time when certain threads have a reply in them.
