Re: PDC Development Tour 2019
The more obvious names (De Zwaan, Humphries, Schindler and Evetts) should be fine on the main tour and so unless they bomb, I won't be as interested in what they do on the Development Tour. Looking most forward to seeing what Brooks can do, he's had a year on tour and didn't pull up any trees, but looks like that year has done him the world of good as he's got off to a solid start this year. Still a fucking teenager too! The other second year tour card holders I don't think are anything special, and the rest of the new batch (barring possibly Ward) are still mostly pretty inexperienced so maybe we won't see any fireworks from them just yet (but hey, it took losing a tour card before we saw de Zwaan and Aspinall really start to motor!).
Cole, Rafferty and Rydz all had their moments last year without winning a tour card so they could well be dark horses, especially as they'll be doubly motivated to do well

Re: PDC Development Tour 2019
He rarely seems to get through a whole weekend, missed quite a lot of events last year, and even this year, he's pulled out of Q-School with an illness, and the Dutch Open singles so as not to put too much strain on his shoulder. I rate him, but for someone so young to have problems like that doesn't sound goodphil davies wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 3:24 pm Always a few complete unheard of players do pretty well each year. So be intresting to see who that is this year. Anyone know if van Tergouw is playing all of these this year? His career seems to have stagnated considering his early hype.

He is not going to play all of them. Most likely to play one event per day.phil davies wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 3:24 pm Always a few complete unheard of players do pretty well each year. Last week he said he was taking a break because of an injury
Re: PDC Development Tour 2019
I don't think he will play because he is injured
Re: PDC Development Tour 2019
Awww poor love. Does he get all tuckered out playing more than one event a day?PVDarts501 wrote:He is not going to play all of them. De Zwaan should have won much more last year than he did. I think he's not really motivated for this. And not in the best form lately. Would go for Humphries.

Re: PDC Development Tour 2019
Not sure about that, we've had plenty of talented young players who haven't reached their prime yet (which stands to reason when you have guys like Suljovic really start to emerge at such an advanced age), who have fallen on hard times. It's a nice thing to fall back on to give you confidence if the main tour isn't going so well, look at van Gerwen!

Head to head
Bradley Brooks 1-0 Peter Wright
Bradley Brooks 0-3 Willaston Club

As do I. I also think the same system should be in place for the CT.

Re: PDC Development Tour 2019
So the Under 25 i would exclude are
Max Hopp
Jeffrey De Zwaan
Martin Schnidler
Luke Humphries
Corey Cadby
So not that many but Top 64= Developed

Cadby has excluded himself anyway by being a common thief.

Re: PDC Development Tour 2019
I'd hardly call Humphries 'developed', yes he had that run at Ally Pally, but he's still very much getting to grips with the tour. His form on the floor was poor last year and he's not got off to a good start this yearoche balboa wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 5:10 pm So the Under 25 i would exclude are

Re: PDC Development Tour 2019
Underway in Wigan, first round sees Rydz run into a cracking performance yet again, Murschell remain winless this year and JDC finalist Lennon Cradock also fall at the first hurdle, but other than that, anyone of any kind of standing seems to be still standing
Re: PDC Development Tour 2019
Jeffrey De Zwaan out in the last 128
