Durrant probably said something about Cross as he said “ miss miss miss” to himself as he walked to the board once after missing loads of doubles. This was at 3-3 Duzza then got we’ll beat by him from then on. Was probably annoyed at his own performance and said about it at the end of the game.

Cross is clearly heard on the mic saying ‘miss miss miss miss miss’ after he blew the d8 to go 4-3 up and as Duzza’s walking to the board. If that is what Duzza was eluding to Cross at the end of the match then you can see why. How is Duzza to know Cross wasn’t aiming that at him??

Cross then apologised after winning that leg eventually. Don’t get why Cross has to do that kind of thing, shows too much emotion really like in the disgraceful UK final.
Seems to be what is was about as at the end of the match he walks off and you hear repeats of 'miss miss miss miss'.
All a bit of nothing if you ask me.

Usually Ladbrokes/Coral but neither have had them up this weekend, think once MvG pulled out they took them down and never put them back up.

Premier League is in the UK, goes to same venues most years, and Matchroom organizes the hotels.
Players Championships and ET qualifiers are at only a few venues, so players will be staying in the same hotels.
So, not like they're on the road every day in an unfamiliar place.

Probably but how a certain poster can claim it was because Duzza was upset has his performance is baffling...

Seems like Whitlock miscounted in the 8th leg against Brooks. Can't say it lost him the leg, but it didn't help.
Brooks finished the game off well.

Yes, from 4-0 up as well.
Anderson had one bad leg where he was broken in 18, to go 4-2, but otherwise Whitehead, unusually for him, picked up his game to finish it. Whitehead had the bull start and won his legs in 18, 18 (break), 18, 12, 14 (break), 14.

After some good legs to get it to 5-5, the last leg was disappointing from Edgar.

Oh well. Durrant guarantees himself another grand.
As does Luke Woodhouse.
They're 73 and 74, and working their way closer to Owen and Jones.

Also note that some guy call McGeeney is having a decent weekend.

He ends up in close games when he can't put the whole game together, but the scoring power gets him over the line either with a good leg, or when his opponents buckle under the pressure.

Edit: and again missed doubles at 3-3 and loses 3-6 in the board final.

Trust me, travelling constantly is exhausting - both mentally and physically. I’ve done over 100 flights in 2 years. They’ve then got the constant practicing 3-5 hours per day. It’s not a typical 9-5 job.

Right now Cross mostly has 4 travel days in a week, but not consecutive days, to familiar places and with stuff arranged for him, and currently no time changes.

I think that the bigger problem is indirectly related to travel: diet and exercise. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is harder on the road. I don't know what the PDC and PDPA do to help with that. I suspect the PDC does nothing.

Lewis in the final and van Barneveld 5-5 and with the leg last start.
Could be a battle of world champions.

And it is! 7-6, with a 15 darter.
