And not at the level of the top echelon.
It was the 2nd highest average from the day.
Are you sure?

Think i'll be having a bet on Ratajski to beat Smith at 7/4. Smith seems to be in wierd form at the moment, especially with his injuries.
Might also have a bit of fun on King against MVG

Ratty and JDZ the only non seeds to win this afternoon IMO.
I'll go for Durrant to beat Wattimena. Wattimena was better in the early floor events, but his form has dipped in the past couple of weeks, so I think Durrant will be let off enough to win. Looks like the game most likely to be 6-5 to the winner of the bull start.

Durrant is one of the Worlds greats, he should win easily.

I agree but thats on tonight not in the afternoon session ;-)

Also think Vinny will beat Cullen and that Ross Smith will push Whitlock close if not beat him.
Oh yes. Also Lewis is a seed v Van den Bergh.

I was going to say that Evetts an outside chance against Chisnall. Evetts is very comfortable on stage and capable of putting in a good enough game to win. But he'd have a better chance against Chisnall in a later round where Chisnall would feel more pressure and start missing. Chisnall is a quarter-finalist.

I had the same thinking, but Cullen and Whitlock always screw me over in a bet so I was staying away from them.

Clayton beats Hunt 6-3 in a uneventful game.

That was a cracking watch Ratajski obliterating Smith with a 14,14,13,14, then somehow smith got back into it. Last leg was fantastic. 6-5 Ratajski.

Gurney was there for the taking but another abysmal display on doubles from JDZ.

Just in from work and settling down to watch tonight's action. Looking forward to Wattimena vs Durrant, and MVG vs King.

Looks like Ratajski played well this afternoon, in a high quality match against Bullyboy.

Fantastic 161 checkout from Dimitri to break Lewis and go up 5-2 . Both averaging circa 100 in a niggly match.
