So no more British or Benelux players but Tony Martin is ok? Odd.phil davies wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 2:40 pm Hopefully Tricole can get himself into the top 26. The more non British and Benelux players qualified the better.
Also hope Tony Martin qualifies as he is always honest and unlike others can take a joke on here.

So if Widmayer qualifies then he is obviously the better player?phil davies wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 5:40 pm Also let’s hope the American qualifier this year is actually one of their better players who could do damage at Lakeside rather than the likes of Widmayer. Though a lot also depends of which yanks qualify for the PDC worlds.

So if they can’t be arsed to travel or play in the BDO events then tough titties, Widmayer does.phil davies wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 5:49 pmGiven the points system no he isn’t. A lot of it especially in America comes down to who is willing to travel the most. Many of the better US players don’t do much of the BDO tour and instead focus on the CDC or/and softip events.ILAD wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 5:46 pmSo if Widmayer qualifies then he is obviously the better player?phil davies wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 5:40 pm Also let’s hope the American qualifier this year is actually one of their better players who could do damage at Lakeside rather than the likes of Widmayer. There are girls in the Crewe league better than her. Just don't play the tour or have the cash or the time to do the travel club. It's a joke.

But still isn’t the best player in fact in the years he has qualified he has won less events than other Americans, the points system is rubbish.

I'm no fan of Paula Jacklin but as in terms of Ladies standard she is that bad a player. Has won 3 events back to back recently and it had Dobromyslova in the field for one of them. Time to stop this shite, Yes she should do better on TV but you could say the same for Jamie Caven, Ian White, Gary Robson etc
