I assume one of them will be bundled in with the 7 locals. The convict, probably.
Or, Cody Harris more than likely.

That's a fair point, I suppose he may have indicated that he wasn't interested but it would be a shoe in imo.

Why? He's playing like a top 32 player, not a top 16 player.

Van Gerwen, Wade, Price (2), Chisnall, Clayton and Lewis also won Players Championships.
Van Gerwen and Gurney won European Tour events.
Aspinall won the UK Open.

That's 8 players, all ranked well above him.
Durrant has played in two ranking stage events and lost his 2nd match.
In his "Contender" Premier League he played badly.
When he's actually done something in the PDC on stage, then maybe he could be invited.

Also don’t really see why for the AUSSIE events they can’t just Chuck Whitlock, Kando and Cadby as three of the 8 Aussie players and add another 3 pros to reward their performances/give them experience but whatever.
They might yet be used as Aussie players, the PDC haven't actually said who's in which category yet, the door is possibly still open for the likes of, say, Lewis/Cullen/Clayton. Kando is that kind of category of player who's ideal for something like this though, probably never gonna quite be Premier League level, but very dangerous at that level just below, and, well, Cadby is a phenom, despite him not 'deserving' it, I think he'll show us all what we've been missing

Are you referring to the BDO player who never plays in any of the Host Nation PDC qualifiers despite being entitled to do so? That one?

You think he should be there instead of the PDC tour card holder, the PDC tour card holder, the PDC tour card holder, the non-tour card holder who goes to Q School each year and plays in host national qualifiers and qualifies for a number of PDC events, the PDC tour card holder, or the former PDC tour card holder who went to Q School this year and qualified for a PDC event through a host nation qualifier?

Dont credit him with that level of forward planning ffs, he had his BDO blinkers on. Used to have a picture of those somewhere.

1205 is spot on. They are hardly going to invite him and tell the others who support the system to sod off.

Completely agree.

Refused to go to Q-School this year so no surprise the PDC don’t give him an invite.

Obviously could turn up at Grand Slam if high enough up BDO OOM but that’s their decision.

phil davies wrote: Thu Apr 11, 2019 11:59 am As others have said their are player who would be more deserving than Glen anyway that have been left out in the likes of Lewis and Clayton. Still idiotic not having events in Asia they should put some of the top Asian players from their OOM. Into the Aussie and NZ events but won’t.
Having no events in Asia is surprising, however one thing the PDC are not is idiotic, so there will be a very good reason why.

I agree with Phil over a World Series in South America. I think there is a lot of potential that could be tapped. There are good players like Norman Madhoo and Sudesh Fitzgerald who are deserving of opportunities. Also I'd like to see Spain host in this at some point, because the Iberian region has shown consistency in participation in PDC/WDF tournaments.

Doesn’t the Gibraltan Government pay loads of money in hosting fees to have event there to promote tourism for the weekend ?

If Spain had a promoter offering similar money I am sure they would get a ET event.
