I see the star German attraction on that side of the divide has tossed the weekend off.

It doesnt look very good. Cant be arsed entering PDC events, and now cant even be arsed entering the top BDO events in his own country. Being already qualified for Lakey is no excuse.

Exactly, would rather go and play Jappodarts than play in one of the big tournaments in his home country. Says it all.

I would if the softtip darts had a bigger prize pot I was more likely to win or if my sponsor told me I had to go and play in it !

A shocking inditement on the state of darts on that side of the divide then, the biggest event in Germany he can enter (?) on that side of darts and he tosses it off to play darts with pretty light and noises instead.

I didn't think it was possible any longer to be shocked at the state of the amateur side of darts.

But let's have a try

BDO German Open

Men’s
Winner: 2400€
Runner-up: 1200€
Semi-Finals: 480€
Quarter-Finals: 240€
Last 16: 120€
Last 32: 60€
Last 64: 30€

Ladies
Winner: 800€
Runner-up: 400€
Semi-Finals: 200€
Quarter-Finals: 100€
Last 16: 50€
BDO German Masters

Men’s
Winner: 2000€
Runner-up: 1000€
Semi-Finals: 450€
Quarter-Finals: 200€
Last 16: 80€
Last 32: 40€
Last 64: 20€

Ladies
Winner: 800€
Runner-up: 400€
Semi-Finals: 200€
Quarter-Finals: 100€
Last 16: 50€

What's the money like for the softip event ?

For level of entry that poor prize money I think each round needs looking at for the main event

3000 1200 600 350 150 100 50euro looks better for number of players in draw and woman’s 1000 500 300 125 50
