Do they really need to put "From Russia with Love" on the press release? Or any nickname really.

The most important piece of info is still missing.

The most important piece of a successful competition is still missing.
Someone who actually wants to buy a non-existent ticket for a non-existent venue?

They're trying to be classy so put it the Japanese way with surname first.

(Except that it's not how we write names in English, so instead of being classy it looks either ignorant or pretentious.)

They have done every other year.
And not having a venue will make it even easier not to turn up this time.

The Japanese put the surname first.
As do the Chinese, Koreans and Vietnamese.

I'll give the BDO credit for not being that messed up.

In Japan, yes. But we re-order and Anglicise the names, something we DON'T do with Chinese names.
