Really impressive how Steve Beaton still manages to qualify for all the events. So many people who "peaked" at the same time he did have vanished from the big stages (or the game at all), and he's still there and can beat anyone on his day.
Does anyone know where one could find the first ranking tables where Beaton entered the Top32 BDO and PDC? It would be interesting to see which of the other names on the list are even active, not to mention in the Top 32 these days.

Hughes misses D12 for the niner. Playing really well and at 4-2 up against Jackpot, has a great chance of getting through to the Last 16.

First interview with Superchin since the PL on Thursday

Have to say thought highly of him coming out and apologising for his conduct on Thursday night, however in this LiveDarts interview, is somewhat less attritional.

What is it with Peter Wright. Went back to his older set up on Thursday, and although got hammered by MVG, still threw a 102 average. Despite that has changed back to the darts he has thrown pretty average with over the previous 4 weeks.

Yeah, the blabbering douche Nicholson was certainly right this one time: there WAS more movement than in tectonic plates, given that continental plates move roughly 2 centimeters a year. He should be forced to listen to his own commentary on tape a few days non stop, maybe that would cure him from spouting so much utter nonsense.

No idea but he has got to edging closer to the most world champs appearances.
Played in a World Championship every year from 1992. Switched to PDC for the 2002 Worlds.
Phil Taylor played in World Championships from 1990 to 2018.
John Lowe played in World Championships from 1978 to 2005.
Van Barneveld played 1991, 1993 and then from 1995.
King played from 1997.
So Beaton needs one more to overtake Lowe and tie Taylor.

Beaton keeps himself in reasonable shape, and has a simple action.
Hopefully he'll be able to retire on his own terms.

PS
Beaton's BDO World Championship winning run was Stompe (3-0), Part (3-0) Adams (4-1), Fordham (5-3), Burnett (6-3). Burnett was the reigning champion.
