For ET8, Durrant beat Owen in the board final, and that effectively moved him above Owen to 69th in the OOM. Next target is Matthew Edgar. With the 2k guaranteed here Durrant is on 37k, 5k behind Edgar (2018) on 42k. 64th is currently 57.5k.

Of course he beat Hughes to qualify for ET7 even though Hughes had a better average.

Beaton, Smith, Anderson, Aspinall, Durrant, Harrington, Joyce, King, O'Connor, Woodhouse all double-qualifiers.
Beaton keeps up his perfect record.

In ET7, Klaasen has played two good games to reach his board final, and is 1-0 up against Hopp. Can he break his duck?

Hughes had six darts at 16 to go 3-1 up but went to pieces. For some weird reason the bookies have Cadby joint 8th in the markets level with or ahead of Durrant, should make his opponents good value this weekend.

Ouch. In PC 16 on Sunday, Webster was 5-4 up, and lost the 10th leg in 22 darts.
He's not been good on the floor, but has been able to do OK on stage in the European Tour events. Losing his seeding could make a big difference.

ET7 (2019 Dutch Darts Masters) Host Nation Qualifier in progress.

Willem Mandigers has won his first game comfortably with a 90.4 average. He's on a board with Danny van Trijp.

Stompe also won his first game (86.6, 6-3), but his son (73.4) lost 6-1 to Hol. Stompe's board has Wesley Plaisier.

Van Trijp through to his board final 6-1 (85.9). He'll play Mandigers or Luc Peters.

Greebe out 4-6 in his board semi to Merkx.

Van Tergouw playing Hol in his board final, and up a break 2-0.
But was 4-2 up and didn't win another leg, missing some doubles.

Home Nation Qualifiers:
Erik Hol 6 - 4 Justin van Tergouw
- van Tergouw was 4-2 up, and missed some darts at double in the next 3 legs
Danny van Trijp 6 - 5 Luc Peters
- missed 3 for it at 5 - 3 with the darts, then Peters took out 136, held his darts with a nice 2-dart out, then had 3 darts for the match. Peters missed and van Trijp took out 100 in 2 darts. 93.6 v 93.2.
Alexander Merkx 6 - 5 Jeffrey Bekema
- Last leg won in 24 darts. Bekema had 7 darts for the match.
Wesley Plaisier 6 - 0 Mats Gies
- Comfortable. Gies scored very poorly and missed opportunities when he didn't
Hendriks, Jimmy 6 - 4 Plooy, Michael
- Some bad legs mixed in, but Hendriks's 4 15-dart legs were the difference in this one.

RAYMOND VAN BARNEVELD will headline a star-studded opening day of the Dutch Darts Masters on Friday, with the European Tour event in Zwolle also set to see Michael van Gerwen aiming for a sixth successive win in the tournament.

Dutch legend Van Barneveld was one of the qualifiers for the £140,000 tournament, and plays Hungary's Pal Szekely in the first round - with the winner set to face Michael Smith.

Former Austrian Darts Open winner Vincent van der Voort will be another Dutch star in action on Day One as he plays Andy Boulton, while Danny Noppert meets last weekend's Players Championship 16 winner Harry Ward.

UK Open champion Nathan Aspinall has drawn former World Youth Champion Max Hopp in anoher tasty first round tie.

Five further Dutch players won through Thursday's Host Nation Qualifier in Zwolle, with an extra place available following the withdrawal of Rob Cross.

Lakeside Champion Glen Durrant takes on Alexander Merkx, former World Youth Champion Keegan Brown plays Danny van Trijp, Sweden's Dennis Nilsson plays Erik Hol, Brendan Dolan meets Wesley Plaisier and Ritchie Edhouse takes on Jimmy Hendriks.

In-form Steve Beaton, who has landed a nine-darter on the European Tour this year, takes on Alan Norris, while another former European Tour event winner, Mervyn King, opens up against Luke Woodhouse.

Reigning champion Van Gerwen - who has won the title for the last five years - could face a rematch of his World Championship quarter-final against Ryan Joyce, who plays William O'Connor in round one.

Dutchman Jermaine Wattimena will join Van Gerwen and the other seeded players in entering the action in Saturday's second round, with the PDC European Tour event concluding on Sunday across two sessions.

For tickets, visit www.pdc-europe.tv/tickets.

The Dutch Darts Masters will be broadcast throughout the weekend for PDCTV-HD Subscribers, and at a series of bookmakers' websites worldwide.
