Great semi final. MVG adding to his streak of 27 consecutive last leg wins, but have to say thought Gezzy played really well.

At 5-5 I was just thinking "Last leg decider, last leg decider". Price started slowly but really got going and it felt like van Gerwen was just hanging on. Great 143 from van Gerwen to hold in the 11th, and just as it looked like Price could get an outshot for 12 to end the streak, Price dumped darts into the 1, left a bogey and threw a defeated setup.

Another deciding leg for van Gerwen in less than 15 darts.

Did MVG think he won with that 6th leg?

4th consecutive ET final for Ian White. Think this is an incredible achievement and shows that he is definitely a stage player.

That being said, regardless of who he draws at the Matchplay, I will definitely be backing against him in his Last 32 match.

It was just a great finish to rescue the leg. Price was outscoring him, so he really needed to keep it on throw.

Have to say at 5-5 I had the same thought process as you. It was only after MVG went up 6-5 that I remembered the semis are the best of 13.

They say the third time is the charm. With Ian White it seems that the 154th time will be the charm. Diamonds they say are forever. It will probably take forever for the diamond to break his duck.

For you would consider your 15th post the charm. ;-)

Well played Ian White. Thought he had blown his chance when he was affected by the crowd and complaining to the referee, but overcame all that and was a deserved winner. :DDDD:

Only thing worse than the crowd is Nicholson’s commentating. Cunt talks so much piss it’s unreal.

Streak over.
It's only right it was Ian White. Firstly because Ian White was the last player to take him to the final leg in a final, and secondly because it means Ian White earned an extra 15k by winning, helping to solidify his 10th place on the OOM.

Kudos to White, had to put up with the partisan crowd and hit the doubles when it mattered. Always nice to see MVG get done over.

So true. Himself + Dan Dawson are yes men to all the PDC players. There are hardly any insightful commentators left in darts nowadays.
