Decent enough week for me makes the ranking a bit healthier.

Seems like a fair enough cash split to me - as for the darts I would tend to agree with becoming exempt from a 2nd set if you have won already but that's just my take on it.

Quite right, someone should not win 2 sets of darts.

Attached is the cumulative scores after 2 weeks.

There are 3 sets of darts (donated by Red Dragon) up for grabs across the whole of the competition. The prize value is £40 per set but if you want more expensive darts then you can pay the difference.

My suggestion for prize split would be the top points scorer after 9 nights (Judgement night in Rotterdam), the top points scorer in nights 10 through to and including the final and 1 for the highest score overall (potentially excluding the winner of the first 2 prizes).

Sally is also donating a set of darts which I will do a random draw for. Entries for this will need to have participated in at least 13 of the 17 nights.

As for the cash entries I received £110 so was thinking of a split of £75 and £35 for the first 2 overall at the end of the competition.

Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Ffs I have messaged fling, I am 100% not bothered was simply pointing out a rule as in future if a member is a dick they could cause trouble as these are not mentioned in the OP rules etc. The "quoted post" is after 2 weeks and OP was never updated.

Not having a pop Carl, just trying to clarify.

When we originally started the Prediction Competition we did not have a confirmed agreement in place with a sponsor, and only negotiated such 2 weeks in, hence why Fling posted the prize structure at the time he did.

The allocation of the prizes is completely at the discretion of the Competition organiser, as I am sure Ginge will confirm is how we have always approached this, and aIthough I was in no doubt that Fling's post clarified the prize criteria and should he have changed it he would have done so in this thread, if anyone else did not share that perception, I am sorry. I was also of the opinion that the post I referred to from Sparky articulated the Moderators view, but again if any of our members did not realise the prize structure I apologise to them.

In regard to your comment that if someone wanted to be a dick about it, my response to them would be pretty simple, and reiterate what Fling posted that the decision of the competition organiser and the site moderators are final. No kop out but factual and will continue to be so.

Thought Fling did a fantastic job in running a great competition and thanks to him for that.

A great final last week, it went all the way down to the wire but congratulations to Si Robin for edging me out in finishing bottom (over 17 weeks predicting).
