Some cracking ties. The 3 below stand out for me:
Lewis vs Durrant
Smith vs Hughes
Wade vs DeZwaan
Ratajski gets the seed I think all of the unseeded players would be happiest with as Webster out of form.

I would agree with the above but also think Wattimena will fancy his chances against Mensur.

Mvg will smash him but fancy him to get to that game
Re: PDC World Matchplay 20th - 28th July 2019- Blackpool
If Lewis plays like he did at the Czech Darts Open, even StageDurrant would beat him.
But I don't expect he will, so 10-8 to Lewis.

Should be a good match.

Been for the last few years. Considering buying tickets for a session this year. Love the winter gardens.

Completely agree. The Matchplay at the Winter Gardens is a fantastic event to go to. Haven't been for a few years now, for different reasons, but always used to go to the last 3 days every year. Really enjoyed it but if I am being honest always felt a little short changed on the Sunday, with the Final normally being finished early and all the bars being shut well before the end of the Final. From memory tickets over £55.

If I was a Lewis fan I'd be seriously worried about that draw....

Been to 1 semi-final night and it is much better value for money as you have the 2 games.
Re: PDC World Matchplay 20th - 28th July 2019- Blackpool
Imo I've played at both the winter Gardens and ally pally. If I cud have my time again I wud pick the matchplay in Blackpool every time over the ally pally

Going out in the 2nd round against van Gerwen will earn him 15k, but he's dropping 30k from 2017.BeppeBergomi wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 6:00 am If I were a Lewis fan I'd be seriously worried about that draw....
But, I shouldn't be too worried, since the people close enough to overtake him for 16th aren't in the kind of form that's going to take them deep enough in the tournament.
