The problem is they are sponsors providing product.

What the BDO don’t have is a sponsor like a bookmaker putting up the cash for the prize fund, hence why the BDO can’t afford to run it without depleting their reserves.

Was already covered here the Eurosport deal is just TV broadcast and they cover production costs, it’s no actually money to the BDO.

They also need to find a venue where they think ticket sales and cut of the booze sales etc. covers the hire charge. Very unlikely now given so few tickets will actually be sold for cash rather than having to be given away to get people sitting in the crowd to look like their is some interest for TV.

Getting a dart board sponsor was not exactly going to be tricky. Once again nothing has actually moved on. I dont really see Winmau being replaced by these two is massive progress?? I get the Asia thing , well, except that they actually play a different game in soft tip.
It does seem to point towards the WDT bring on and announced on Monday. But the elephant in the room of cost to the BDO I'm sure wont get mentioned.
