No mention in todays local paper or Radio Lancashire this morning. Though there is mention of another new hotel which is 5 mins from the venue for next year
What was the ticket count for Preston, last year Ginge?
Pathetic and dire. 237 across 7 sessions (in 4 days) on the morning of the first session.
Your optimism is very amusing, can you keep it up for 6 and a half weeks?

Yup I can keep it up Only if the BDO Promotion department don't fail us Blackburners
You up for a tenner if it beats that and I'll even give you double 237.

Will depend how well the milkmen do, imo.
If it can't do well here in Blackburn then it will never ever work. Our nightlife has been destroyed around the town centre in recent years(we don't have any nightclubs) but there's been a lot of investment in infrastructure and reinvigorating the town. It's really cheap and accessible and people are dying to have a night out. Again it's all down to how fast they can promote it and what kind of show they will put on.

675 tickets will be sold
I think that will be in the ballpark. A coupe of good initiatives to pad that out a bit, especially for the Sunday and I'm sure it will look ok on TV. Although not in the BDO bank balance which is the real scandal about all this. The 3 year TV contract has suddenly become the noose around the BDO's neck.

Didnt the League of Legends thing go there as well?
Yup, also had a Barney Exbo in the main room and it was 3/4 full.
Held the John Smiths finals which was the event that got you on stage at the Lakeside(teapot Jones won the thing our guy was Mick Taylor.

There may be that many people there but I’ll wager a fair few will not have to pay anything to be there or get cut price tickets. A huge loss on the cards.

Free tickets only go so far. You still have to get there, and maybe stay over, and buy food and drink, and sit through 10 hour sessions. Not going to be a dealbreaker for many unless you are very local.

All these 3 year deals being announced, you would imagine either it’s confirmed at Lakeside for 3 years or another venue will be announced this year.
Let’s hope for their sakes (and the forum meet up) it’s the former
