If he beats Dave Chisnall, he'll stand a _much_ better chance.

He's currently 49k behind 20th.
He's in the European Championship (min 6k) but due to play van Gerwen in the 2nd round, if he beats Evans.
He's in the Players Championship Finals (min 2.5k).
The above tournaments offer 10k for getting to the last 16.
Plus there are 2 remaining Players Championships.

Similar runs to semi-finals in the above majors could get him there or there abouts.

_But_ if he beats Chisnall and reaches the final of the Grand Prix, he would get an extra 25k which would put him 24k from 20th and seriously increase his chances, for 2 reasons:
1) he'd have a chance of winning the final Grand Prix to earn a further 60k which actually bump him into the top 16
2) even if he then lost the final, it'd give him entry into the Grand Slam of Darts, which is a minimum 4k, 10k for getting out of the group, and similar money to the other Majors.

As an aside, Chisnall v Durrant is a play-off for qualifying for the Grand Slam of Darts.
Chisnall is currently in 16th place in the qualifying list, as the lowest of the 3 players qualifying as European Tour winners, behind White (2 wins) and Suljovic (OOM). If Durrant beats Chisnall, Durrant would get a higher place and bump Chisnall down to 17th.
If Chisnall beats Durrant, he'd guarantee his spot, and Suljovic would drop to 16th.

I think Jamie Lewis will be fine. If you look at what's within reasonable distance behind him it's actually not threatening:
32 Jamie Lewis 156,250; -0k; not PCF, not DC
33 Wilson 149,500: -5k GSoD, -2.5k PCF; PCF, not EC
34 Anderson 147,250: -20k EC, -2.5k PCF; PCF, not EC
35 van der Voort, 145,250: -5k EC, -2.5k PCF; PCF, EC
36 Evans, 142,000: -0k; PCF, not EC
37 Lennon, 131,250: -10k GSoD, -5k PCF; PCF, not EC, GSoD
38 Huybrechts, 129,250: -5k EC, -2.5k PCF; PCF, not EC

Realistically, it now needs good peformances from van der Voort (e.g. last 16 EC, last 16 PCF), or some really outstanding performances from the other players below him for Lewis not to remain in 32nd and get what could be a final appearance at the World Championships. Given that most of the players are in poor form, several are defending substantial chunks of money, and most of them only have the PCF guaranteed, and won't play in the EC, it's not that likely they'll do enough to get above Lewis' 156,250.

There are a number of them. Somebody tweets a Tour Card Race, and darts database has one.
http://www.dartsdatabase.co.uk/Rankings.aspx?rankKey=17

I think somebody tweets World Championship qualifying, but they show on top 32 and Pro Tour OOM, not so much players a bit outside Top 32.

Evans is in the Euros. With Euro + PC 1st round money added the OOM after the WC comes off is

32. J Lewis 156250
33. R Evans 150500
34. V van der Voort 146250
35. J Wilson 144500

If Evans can win his 1st round match at the Euros, that brings him another 4k, then one more win at the Euros or the Players or a decent run in PC29/30 will be enough to overtake Lewis.

Thanks I missed that one, very stupidly given that I'd already noted that Durrant was playing him in the first round at the Euros.

So he's by far the biggest threat, but it's worth noting that Evans' form is a bit mixed and crap on the floor (losing last 128 or last 64 as a board seed), and playing Durrant and then likely van Gerwen at the Euros, so there's still a decent chance he'll be turning up at the Players Championship Finals needing wins to get World Championship seeding.

If someone could update all the Orders of Merit between the first and second semis tonight, that would be just peachy.

Evans' bad floor form continued in PC 29.

With guaranteed money after PC 29:
Lost 128 32. J Lewis 156250
Lost 128 33. R Evans 150500
Lost 064 34. V van der Voort 146750
DNP 35. J Wilson 144500

Lewis reached the R32 today for the first time since PC15 and that £1000 could be crucial with Evans losing first round again.

1 win at the Euros and 1 win at the Players is no longer enough for Evans. He has to either reach the Euro QF (beating Durrant and Van Gerwen/R Smith), or reach the Players R16 (beating Beaton and Wade/Evetts),

van der Voort also needs a Euro QF (beating Suljovic and Ratajski/Dobey), or a Players QF (beating Monk, White/Petersen, then possibly Michael Smith), or to reach the R16 of both tournaments.

Well, I had it right about Evans' PC form. He won 1 game in the last 8 PCs so now he'll probably need to win 2 games at the PCF. It's not a bad draw.
He also failed to qualify for Gibraltar after he dropped out of the ET seeds but that was more about running into a hot Edhouse.

He also lost his first round Grand Prix match against Chris Dobey, so he's failed to take a bunch of chances that would have got him closer to the top 32.

Of course he still has the chance of qualifying for the GSoD, but that's 8 from 112 players so 3 or 4 games to win to make it, then 4th in group is 4k, and 3rd in group 7.5k. So if he qualified and finished 4th in his group, he'd still need the EC win or 2 wins in the PCF. If he qualified and finished 3rd or better he'd earn 7.5k, and overtake Jamie Lewis. Unless Jamie Lewis also somehow qualified for the GSoD.
