Heard about this earlier and had to actually ask people if it was true because let's face it you could not make this up not even on drugs As for the picture of the self proclaimed almighty on the stage? Well that's just perfect for a meme or two surly Got to feel for the players but yet again they've fell for another messiah (insert Monty python joke yourself) .Personally I think there's even more cluster ducking to come. This pair make the "Not the Nine O'clock News" sketch look tame.

Well what a day on the forum.

Who could have guessed the shenanigans we would be discussing. That's Me just finished dinner at a very good Chinese Restaurant in Tenerife and now off to Parque de let Paz in Las Americas for the Drifters Show.

Looking forward to tomorrow with both the European Championship and the comedy that is the BDO to entertain me. Pretty sure the Drifters will be second best in the Entertainment department.

Was always going to be. Top 16 should have been in the last 32

Parletti & Mitchell were very good today as was the young Irish lad

Don't agree. This is what makes this tournament special, the fact that literally anyone could play on tv. Allowing seeds to enter in the last 32 would make this tournament more of the same and an embarrassing version of the regular PDC-setup

It certainly makes the Masters what it is.. But if you want the Masters to be a TV event that casual viewers will watch then it's not a good format..
Although to be honest even if you seeded the top 16 to TV there are virtually no players left now that casual supporters would really go out of their way to watch.. Not like some BDO fields in the not that distant past.

Exactly. The BDO has hardly any stars left, if at all. So then I'd rather see an interesting amateur-concept than a failed attempt to imitate the professional elite
