Someone on Fanatics saying they should get rid of the afternoon sessions and expand the tournement to 2 weeks worth of evening sessions!!!

Surely reducing it to a weekend format of Friday to Sunday would be more practical in a business sense?

Putting the event back to draws of 32 and 8 would eliminate all the weekday afternoons like in the oul days. Thats more sensible maybe, although still involves hiring a venue for 9 days.

But you could have afternoon session on weekend and the Friday cut the Monday to Thursday out

to clarify for any folks reading he was banned for using a term for a darts org, that I think they use themselves because of their initials.

The ticket prices appear to have changed! For example, Friday afternoon (the session I'll be going to), the prices for the stage areas has reduced to £26.50. It was approx £38. They've also released more tickets. The Kings Row has gone from 50-odd pounds to £101!!

Not sure who has absorbed the price cut, or what will happen with those who have already coughed up?

Weird isn't it? Looks like the facility charge has been chopped on some sessions, which is where the reduction has come from. BDO revenue hasn't taken a hit.
