Could tip off those cops looking for him he’s going to try and flee the country so they should post an enhanced watch at the airports near his home to nab him when he tries to fly here.

If has a sportsmans visa, he's expected to go to the UK to work as a professional sportsman. So probably doesn't need the same proof a regular tourist would need.
Obviously, as with anybody else, I hope he can unscrew up his life, but it's not looking good at the moment.
