In Ladies qualifier yesterday Carla Boyes bust a 160 then failed to go out in at least 9 more darts and lost the leg.

Unfortunately will miss the first night as will be travelling back from St. Lucia, following a weeks holiday at the Sandals resort.

Freebie, as have won this as a prize from my business for sales performance over the last year.

Not bad from the creepy Sofa Salesman. ;-)
Loved St Lucia when I got married there in 2002.
Planning to go back in 2022.

Won a similar prize when my business last run this type of competition 2 years ago. That was in Barbados and myself and partner had a great time, so we are looking forward to St Lucia this time round.

As an added bonus will be able to watch the Celtic vs Rangers cup final on the Sunday, but would have missed had I still been at home due to work commitments.

Some tickets still available for all sessions with the exception of the evening ones on 20th, 28th and 30th December.
pdc have just released 1,000 more tickets (that they got back from secondary sites. Does that mean folks who have put them there have had them taken off them with no refund?).

We know not every seat will b taken at every session but what a success story the PDC is. within a short time over 90 posts had been made when the PDC announced this on facebook.
Some will be tickets sold by Thomas Cook as part of a holiday package.

These were voided when Thomas Cook went bust. The PDC offered to sell you the ticket again at the face value ticket only price.

The money lost had to be reclaimed via your travel insurance of bank card. The money you paid was kept by TC so lost in the liquidation. They never passed the PDC their share. Hence why you had to rebuy the ticket.

Yes, its a breach of the terms and conditions so no sympathy.
Nope. They get refunded from the original point of purchase.

Haha and to think the average Joe would know about what supposedly happened at the World Masters as a few here suggested is exactly as I said at the time laughable and the casual fan will have no idea...

Gando and Barney should be excluded too.

What is the PDC thinking allowing them into their comp?

Very true.. The casual fan will have no idea of what goes on or went on in the background.. that same casual fan though will still look at the player line ups in the Masters and the 02 and come to the quick conclusion that it's clearly shite and second rate and that's why the BDO will never shift tickets at any great rate.. I don't think even most of the Fanatics know half the fields these days

Falcon confirming that the 1st Round Ally Pally > Lakeside final.

“This is a brilliant achievement. It’s definitely my biggest achievement so far and I’m really excited about playing at the World Championship."

It certainly pays more.

the difference is those casual fans have always just watched Wimbledon.

Once upon a time those casual fans thought darts only existed at lakeside once a year. Viewing figures for that have dropped massively.

when you have 'captured' the attention, on a regular basis, of the casual fan you have cracked it. And to think the BDO gave up that fan base when losing/giving up the BBC contract.
