It does already have points but they can easily toss the points off and save themselves £10k. Remember they have now been put into a short notice position that having these points will now cost them.

I suspect, IF it is just for 2021 onwards, what has pissed them off most is that they probably felt they had to pay for 2020, if people had already signed up on the basis of it having points, and would annoy people who have travelled (although of course this anger should be directed at the BDO).

But do the EDO need the points more than the NDB?

If they don't need the points and follow the example of the dutch, you can see a domino effect happening and the bdo system quickly unravelling.

It's only really the Dutch that the PDC needs to attract into the system now , UK based BDO players are all coming across anyway when they are good enough (or trying at least).
