I think we need to wait and see what announcement the WDF will be making (hopefully before the 02). a lot of BDO officials will be impacted if the bdo shuts down but the game of darts will be okay. In fact it will be better off in many ways.

The PDC has too many barriers. That is why they have two ladies qualifiers for the PDC Worlds. It wasn't too long ago that the only women the PDC had on stage were eye candy and nothing more. And where are the female callers ? Scorers etc ? And what about the county and youth games?

It is not that easy though is it? We don't know how those organisations will be set up.

The fact is that some players don't want to play full time, some like the BDO lifestyle. Why not let them do it? Why make women play against men like Hearn wants? Women have played the game for a fraction of the time that men have so wont be at that level yet.

The BDO needs to die to allow the formation of a new, fresh amateur organisation that realises its place in darts and doesn't have ideas above its station. The BDO not only needs to die, it deserves to fucking die!
