Also includes seats blocked out to be sold on other sites that wont have sold either. A shambles.

So around 700 tickets have been sold since the last count?

That tallies with what I was told a few weeks ago about sponsors and families buying tickets. It also agrees with what I was told a few days ago that Fallon's success at the PDC Worlds had improved sales figures a bit.

I can see them breaking the 5000 barrier. Not ideal, far from it, but quite the disaster some on here were hoping for.

It would have been more worrying had the BDO splashed out on production costs. I'd rather they cut costs through commentator and broadcaster fees than through the prize fund.

All of this is necessary for the BDO to have any sort of future. They can't rebuild by needlessly throwing away the little capital they have remaining.

If they don't cit the men's prize fund.then that's a massive mistake. Save £50,000 just by cutting top prize.
players won't pull out and £50,000 is a good sum of money to win.

In all likelihood the winner will be playing in the pdc or wdf champs next year anyway.
