Re: 2020 Q School
To be fair most of the players who ended up going to QS probably would have gone anyway and the same this time... But in the past if they hadn't got a card they would have been lost to the BDO for the year.. at least they got a player like Jim Williams back so it makes sense to meTommy T-Rex wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2019 9:26 am Was a great move by Des Selecta removing the clause about withholding prize money if players do Q School, its led to a loss of most of the BDO's top players and freshened up the PDC. Has there been any confirmation when they will list the players? - Want to work out if guests will be allowed.

Re: 2020 Q School
It's going to be interesting to see the absolute tence and stress on some 'Q schoolers' on the stream. Looking forward to it.

I would love it if DBG gets his ban overturned, attends and is on the stream.

Paul Nicholson is attending.
He's a lovely bloke in person. Hope he gets a card.

Pretty sure that Q School will not have any streamed boards in 2020.Vriezzer wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2019 2:16 pmIt's going to be interesting to see the absolute tence and stress on some 'Q schoolers' on the stream. Looking forward to it.

Re: 2020 Q School
I presume Sherrock has signed up already as well.
This was one of Hearn’s points in the Livedarts interview that fewer women attended the 2019 Women’s WC qualifiers than 2018. But surely much of that is it’s a winner takes all for the UK and International qualifiers as they are the only ones earning money.
So if you don’t think you have a chance of winning why attend especially IIRC they were on a weekday.
They only way more would attend is if you paid prize money to the top 4 or 8 with the winner getting the WC spot as well. But then it becomes a women’s tournament and Hearn and the PDC have said they aren’t interested in that of funding it. Also the qualifying international men’s qualifiers don’t get paid either so why should just the women.
