Ironic really all you lot orgasming about the crowd funding to help the girlies out, I remember it wasn't long ago you mugs guys were doing something similar to help the budding PDC players with their extortionate fees.

It's the same, both donating to help out the seemingly needy.

Back in the 80's she used to book the caravans for the Lincs players at comps ....making sure she charged them enough to cover her costs.

We never should have offered to donate 1p for every time someone on here had a pop at the Jacklins

Re: WC Ladies Crowdfunding
2 grand. So about 30p per each member of Egerton's BDO Fanatics group.
They're not exactly fanatical about parting with money to aid players at the org they're "fanatical" about.
No tickets, no donations and soon no BDO. They'll have only themselves to blame when the BDO goes bust, they simply don't attend the events.

Re: WC Ladies Crowdfunding
£2,160 at the moment out of a target of £2,500 (although the goalposts keep moving so goodness knows what the target will eventually be).
If Tony is right and the plan is to share it between those eliminated in rounds 1 and 2, then that's £180 per player. That might be all the money they get at this rate. Has the prize money been confirmed at all? Ridiculous state of affairs.

Good point. They're about as fanatical as the Bury fans who failed to save their club from going under.DavidOwen67 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 1:22 am 2 grand. So about 30p per each member of Egerton's BDO Fanatics group.

Mind you, I don't know whether that's because they're not true fans or because they simply can't afford it. These people are barely able to function in society, let alone hold down a steady job.

No tickets, no donations and soon no BDO, no BICC and calling for me. They'll have only themselves to blame when the BDO goes bust, they simply don't attend the events.
Fixed.
Re: WC Ladies Crowdfunding
The whole point of it was to cover costs. Therefore Paula should get £0 as her hotel room was paid for through expenses.NvH wrote:£2,160 at the moment out of a target of £2,500 (although the goalposts keep moving so goodness knows what the target will eventually be).
