More likely 4 BDO reps - World Champ, runner-up, World Master and Ladies World Champ, plus 4 non-PDC players from around the world. Whatever they do, they should get away from using BDO rankings

Personally, I'd have rather seen Lisa, Ana and Suzuki in the GSOD than some random fellas, they'd probably have put up a better show.Addicks Fan wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 1:07 pm

Those ladies could go the CT route IMO.

It’s unfortunate as it’s what makes this tournament interesting for me, but what is the point in putting the amateur jobbers in to just be cannon fodder.
If they were remotely entertaining or put up a fight then keep them in. Otherwise, TTFN

Now then, I know some people take the group games in this event very seriously. I recall when Taylor lost to Hankey 5-4 and some said this was because Taylor was trying some new glasses, and the likes of Oche and Paddy laughed saying people were making excuses.
Therefore, I expect neither to make excuses for this recent result

We look forward to seeing any potential match between the two newly crowned world champions.
Remind me what happened the last time the Bdo world champion and the pdc world champion met? My memory is just awful!

Are you still cracking on about Wolfie v Adrian Lewis exhibition?... The one where Lewis went for 3 bulls on a 150 check out... Just as he would in a tournament ?..
You know Mardle beat MVG in an exbo recently as well... That must make Mardle world number 1.

You've only been back 5 minutes, and your gimmick is already boring again.

No I am sure there has been a more recent one.. I am sure the BDO world champion played the PDC world champion in a proper televised major tournament some point last year..... god I wish I could remember.....trotter01 wrote:Are you still cracking on about Wolfie v Adrian Lewis exhibition?... Duzza has done fine against MvG this year. 2-0 in comps IIRC.
He's 2-3 with Wright though.
And 1-6 with Glory Glory over his career.
So, every silver lining.....

So the 2019 BDO champ beat the 2019 PDC champ? How can that possibly be?!

Oh THATS right. The pdc world matchplay wasn't it? 13-11? TV major? Long format?Black Velvet wrote:So the 2019 BDO champ beat the 2019 PDC champ? How can that possibly be?!

Surely a misprint.
Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 9th-17th November 2019- Wolverhampton
I dont believe it to be honest. I think its fake news if you ask me. From the same fake news media that alleged a 16 year old girl at the o2 averaged higher than a load of tour card holders in the recent respective world champs.

Rout, Velvet and Drupid, plus their numerous multiples, the end of the forum is near, just need Dog to make an appearance.

Peter Wright was the better player.
