At least they're giving it a go.

How many legs did you assholes win?
Zero. Funnily enough the same as my contribution to the PDPA.

I could throw a 32.7 average, and there was a winning first round average of 55 today - what's more I think that player won their game 5-0...

The way it was built up by many, youd expect total disaster, but it was nowhere near as bad a spectacle as predicted.
Darn right.

Parts of the BDO Championship were almost as good as the PDC version. The last 16 stages were more or less equal.

Most of these lads just go for the experience. Don't get it myself, but each to their own.

The biggest winner is Hearn's bank balance.

Imagine if the PDPA get all the Q School money rather than PDC shareholders.

Well, he still lost in round 1 with an average in the low 70s (and losing averages are often inflated). Let's not get too carried away :P

The BDO World Championships had some very good matches and others not so good, but even I wouldn't insult them by comparing them to DBG.

The PDPA fund the Players Championship.

An event that Hearn makes money off. Now, now, Ginge, please do keep up.

Players Championship qualifiers are floor tour events. Each weekend costs 150K in prize money plus the running cists of the events. So Q School would cover just 2 of these loss making weekends and the PDC cover the cost of the other 10-12.

What funds all of these loss makers including some of the Euro Events that make losses is the Premier League.

Easiest the biggest cash cow and revenue stream in the PDC.
You knows what generates all that income?
Genuine sponsors and people buying tickets.

How dare Hearn enter commercial partnerships with these companies. How dare people buy tickets to watch the darts.

That's what makes money for Hearn, not Q School. You're just sad and bitter that the BDO were inept at getting sponsors and selling tickets which has lead to their imminent demise and you're lashing out at Q School like a petulant child.

Euro events are not funded by the premier league are they?

Still all leads to the Players Championship final, which Hearn makes coin off.

Does any of this really matter? We all know the PDC is run for profit and Hearn is probably the biggest winner. All these events they run for profit, like the ITV events, add little entertainment and only water down darts. I am not saying they don't do a good job with the professional side of the game. But it isn't perfect, far from it.

Why now accept that?

You don't find it dodgy that the reason they put Q-school under the PDPA is because they don't pay a penny out in prize money? So it is easy to mask they fact they are taking out nearly half a million in entry fees without paying a penny as it is under the PDPA?

Carry on.

I've heard rumours that there are evil employers out there that don't pay applicants for turning up to job interviews.
