Someone probably needs to tell him the PDC rules then.

Maybe they have told him he can.. Its not BDO ranked and he did also say how impressed with the PDC he has been in a answering queries... He said you ask them a question and they give you a proper answer or go away and find out....

What's the deadline on signing the PDC contract?

1) PC 1 is February 6th
2) WDF-only event, not BDO.

The organisation it has points for doesnt matter here. PDC players cannot play in non-PDC TV or streamed events, without first seeking permission. Doesnt matter if its BDO only, WDF only, or both.

They need to cap this at 256 players. I just dont know how they will cope with these sort of numbers.

Ginge, BV and I.
Oh dear. Incorrect.

You would use "me" in the singular in this usage, therefore you also use "me" in the plural.

I thought it would be Ginge.

Fingers crossed. As it stands the BDO is a joke but the WDF needs to step up and cover grass roots darts where the BDO is failing.

There still needs to be that proving ground for up and coming players that Des is currently destroying as best he can.

Nope easy piecy

to be homest:
The Dutch Open is the best organized and smooth running tournament in the world.
180 boards, 5 TV lanes.

Card system voor each player all times per round are on a personal card. Including rules en other info.
Running like a military operation.

And in the Men singles event:
after 1100 plus matches we are ready for the last ..... 2048
Friday played till final in the pairs, saturday for the ladies played till final and men event till last 64.
Sunday Youth, Last 64 Men and all finals (except disability darts)

All finals on stage and telly/streamed. Over 2500 people in the venue having a good time watching the finals.

Players who have their maiden stage entrance have goose pimps all over. (and more experienced one too)

Apologies, I was being ironic as that was being suggested about the challenge tour.

Whilst I havent been lucky enough to attend the Dutch open I hope to one day soon as all you hear are glowing reports about how well its run, with such a mammoth field. Very impressive.

Accepted, wasn't clear where you were refering to.
Hopefully you can attend the Dutch in the future. Should be on any players bucketlist.

Agreed. They'll never be able to run 30 of these a year otherwise.

Why not? Any good business should be able to expand as much as necessary. If the demand was there (which obviously it isn't) they should be able to run 5000 events a day all with 5000 people attending.
