PDC Challenge Tour 2020
Re: PDC Challenge Tour 2020
PDC doesn't need to invest in the future. The good players will always come to the PDC when ready.

No mention of Sherrock in that article. I wonder if she has entered.mv501 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 4:06 pm https://www.pdc.tv/news/2020/01/24/2020 ... t-commence

No Tony O’Shea, Darryl Fitton or Paul Nicholson. Shame, first weekend could have made a big difference.

Re: PDC Challenge Tour 2020
I would say that's the strongest field ever on the challenge tour gonna be hard to pick the winners.

Re: PDC Challenge Tour 2020
Why are there two events each day with such a large field? How long would you be there for if you reached the final of the second event?
Re: PDC Challenge Tour 2020
Oh I know that. If I were good enough, I'd happily commit to that. Just think it's quite a long day, given the large number of entries to Q-school this year. But on the other hand, there's not really much of a BDO to return to for the likes of Jim Williams and Scott Mitchell.phil davies wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 5:01 pmCuts down on cost for both PDC and the players. If your serious about wanting to play the PDC tour then committing to 6 weekends away with long days isn’t exactly the most dreadful thing in the world.
And I suppose having four events per weekend means those who were hedging their bets (i.e. not sure if they wanted to play the PDC but entered Q-school anyway in case they got lucky) are going to be so far behind in the CT OOM if they miss a weekend.

Re: PDC Challenge Tour 2020
Could they start playing some of the first round matches for tournament 2 while the final rounds of tournament 1 are still being played? Would be the most efficient way to avoid having most boards sitting empty while waiting for the first tournament to finish.
