To be fair its highly unlikely that any of them would have done well enough to get into the Pro Tour.

Priorities eh?
Clearly of a fiscal nature, rather than a potentially career beneficiary one.

Each to their own.

O’Shea and Fitton are near the end of their careers anyway so obviously money is going to come first. Fallon knows her stock is higher than it ever likely to be again so want to make the most money out of it she can as quick as possible. Makes sense for her to get as much money in as possible quickly.
Exactly this. The right decision.

Good quality field. Who ever comes through the first 4 events will be deserving winners.
Plus they get first dibs on Pro Tour gaps.

No Asada as well. Didnt had any serious intention to play the tour if he had won a tour card, so good he didnt won any.

With numbers like this I think prelim round 1-2 play best of 7 then best of 9 from last 64 if they want 2 events a day

You're assuming this is just a willingness thing. Can he stay in the UK (or come to the UK) to play darts for money without the correct visa? Assume the PDC cannot 'sponsor' him without a tour card?

How do you know that. He was hardly gonna stay here for almost a month between winning a card and the first pro tour event anyway.
Maybe not, but if you wanna play the pro tour and do not win a card, the event to be is the first challenge tour weekend. Do good at these and you still have a fair chance to play alot on the pro tour.

100 103 and 136 finishes for DBG, but ultimately it’s another PDC game and another mid 70 average loss.

Greg Ritchie averages 94. Loses 5-0.
In another brutal last 256 draw Keane Barry beats Edhouse 5-3.
