A conviction for rape would not have been forgiven.
Jimmy Savile was accused by a large number of people. It's possible they're all lying, or have false memories, but the numbers, combined with his weirdness and other evidence in the public domain that makes people so confident.

Bryant settled financially, which again you don't do if you are innocent.
His argument seemed to be "I didn't see it as rape but I'm sorry if you did". That's as good as admitting it, because I'm pretty sure 99/9% of this forum have never been in any doubt that any sex they had was consensual.

Claire moved on as soon as he got arrested the first time and had to move out of the house due to our daughter thanks.
