I start this thread in the full knowledge that I may get some of the abuse that prevented me from engaging in this forum for a considerable time but...what the hell
There are some incredibly knowledgeable posters on here and some absolute wind up merchants.
Insiders and fans.
Players and watchers.
Veterans and newbies.
I read some threads in absolute bemusement as I don’t get the in joke - pictures of a man who looks very ill, references to IFM, a Pygmy hiding behind a sofa etc.
Others I read and applaud internally - the Hospice thread which quite rightly remains as a sticky.
Overall this site serves a great purpose - you have exposed Jacklin for the fraud he is, debated the big issues and maintained a dialogue.
I don’t know who David Owen is, or Rout and I don’t care. The reason for my first thread is thus - the Good is in the debate, humour, puss takes,knowledge and passion
The Bad is in the boring infighting and BDO V PDC shite.
The Ugly is in the posting of abuse, pictures of clearly I’ll members and the perpetual point scoring.
Overall like a proper local - the drinkers want to drink, the gossips want to gossip and now and then a random walks in. Don’t ever change.

Personally I would advise you to not give a shit what anyone else thinks. A really good first topic started by you, and some pertinent points made. Forums are a mix of dart fans and those who see them as a social medium. And you have others who see forums as an opportunity to abuse and troll behind hidden identities on an effort to fulfil their own social inadequacies. Think we have got a happy medium on here.

Personal comments by anti-BDO posters are allowed to stand. When the odd balanced poster gives them some back their posts are deleted.

Posts I have reported containing personal attacks, some about other poster's family members, have been allowed to stand. This isn't an impartial forum.
