Ticket sales for the o2 show he has a point on the value of the men, and the women have been a successful gimmick, if you want to call it that, so far.

The drop off in numbers at the qualifier is for obvious reasons.

Women's darts is far more polarised than the men's game. The 2 Ally Pally places could have gone to 2 of about 6 players.
So the rest don't enter as they know they have no chance.
