There was a post a week or so ago about what Des had planned coming up meetings with sponsors and going to be able to confirm tickets etc. When was this supposed to be?

A week and a half ago.

It would seem that despite having these meeting. And making those statements Des and the BDO still haven't made any contact with the venue they have in the calender for the World Trophy

Have you phoned King Georges hall up?

Sent them an email asking when tickets would go on sale. They've had no contact from the BDO.

They literally cant afford it.
There needs to be a wake up call here.
The auditors have basically said the BDO is insolvent.
No one,not a production company etc are going to do anything without being paid up front.
It really is all over Oche unless they are white knighted .

well I asked a genuine question to KGH Blackburn. I have been and intend to go again to this comp (if I 'win' tickets for a fourth time that is) so enquired after getting a facebook post rom them advertising up and coming events.

This was the reply I got today:

"Hi Steve, BDO aren't currently booked in to return but we announce all new shows and events on our Facebook page if you are following us. Thanks."

These are facts aren't they. Not booked in! So they only booked one year in for the KGH.

Did he say 3yr TV deal though or 3 years at Blackburn?

Whatever it doesn't look like they are going back. Anyone could book the scheduled dates.

Quite sure he said they had secured the venue for three years, in which case it would be booked in already.

I mean, it may end up being booked in, but it does make the initial pronouncement look a load of rubbish.
