It’s a shame Wales will lose the rugger match, but other than that I’m sure you’ll have a great time
Joey will be there also, I guess no one else is attending.

Rumour reaches me that a forum-burning dwarf may be joining us. However, he may just hide behind a sofa all weekend instead. :D

Is this true??

You are barred from all PDC events anyway are you not.

Yup its a shame that the PDC do not allow punters in for a single day unlike the BDO who do.

Love this tournament- brilliant to see such a big field and mix of current stars, new faces, qualifiers, old stagers and women players. Not everyone’s cup of tea but it retains that all levels of game having a crack at one other quality which many sports have lost in the mix. The demise of national cups in English and Welsh rugby a great example of what a game loses long term when you totally disconnect the elite from the rest of game.

I like the UK Open... It throws up some good stories... Rob Cross as an "amateur" qualifier is obviously one of the main ones but I like the big field, the draws... Remember Durrant as an unknown playing Part on the main stage.... Waites having a decent run.. Always some good stories and good darts even though I preferred Bolton!

Its not quite as enjoyable as it once was, but still one of the better PDC tournaments on the calendar. Looking forward to it.

phil davies wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2020 8:07 pm Definetly better when it was all in one room in Bolton. Definitely still one of the best 5 TV events to watch though IMO.
As an event it was far better in Bolton but I suppose it currently makes miles more money than it did then so the PDC will be well happy and I would imagine its a good weekend if you are there
