Interesting way of saying "going against official advice and to hell with the consequences".
Meh. Arrest me.
The restaurant wont be open.
You are always one step behind the reality of all this Ginge!!
So are you saying all restaurants will be ordered to close in the UK by Friday night? Would you like a charity wager?
I'll take it.

I asked Skewy first. If he welches I will happily have one with you.

It will be touch and go whether they will be "ordered" to, but theres a more than decent chance it will be closed anyway. Restaurants and pubs may just decide to as they are gonna be so empty now.

Well thats very different to what Skewy seems to be suggesting.

There is no chance in this earth or the next that restaurants will be ordered to close by 7.30pm Friday. There we go.

I have a table for 10 (wife, kids and grandchild only) booked Wednesday evening as it’s my twin daughter’s 18th birthday.

I genuinely don’t know whether to cancel it or go. I know the advice is to avoid restaurants, but you are only 18 once right?

I’m thinking whilst venues are not ordered to close it’s individual decisions.

Because whilst it's only "advice", the govt dont have to take responsibility for the decision.

Once its ordered, they need to dip their hands in their pockets and help out.

Johnson may as well have just stood and shrugged his shoulders for ten minutes.

? Er,no. They cant by law.
I dont think that restaurant will be open by Friday, by choice.
I thought it was quite obvious what I meant.

You think the Government cant force restaurants to close if they so wished? Really?

So you arent taking my wager then. Thought as much.

I dont think they can until they put some new legislation in. That's what someone said on the radio earlier anyway.

At least half the people in your team will still be going down the pub anyway, so all a bit pointless.

And why would I take a wager on something I didn't say?

Its clearly what you meant to be fair.

Unless you know the specific restaurant I had chosen was going to shut down, which you possibly cant know.

Dont care, that their individual decision. Might even go myself.
I spoke to a captain who an underlying condition tonight , another who is 76 with an ill wife and a third who is 4 months pregnant and the last one wasnt comfortable playing. Your ignorance of actually going out playing darts in teams does let you down sometimes. ;)

It bloody well wasnt. I am guessing that virtually every restaurant will have shut by Friday by their own accord. It's not rocket science and your track record so far on this virus hasnt exactly been spot on.
