Theres no one in America called Tony Nickle or Eddie Smithson?

Sorry maybe I should clarify. Someone in the Yank darts org, through which all the entries for the Masters had to be entered through, said neither name was a player that had qualified through their system.

Hope this clarifies my original point.

A niche sport

Not like many would be interested in darts equipment, maybe the edo or WDF might snap it up at a bargain.

Can see the PDC being interested in the BDO’s video library. Certainly the pre 1993 stuff. Stick it all on pdc tv.

Who’s going to want to take it over now?

Not a question of want it’s a question of who can be persuaded to take it on gave 3 names last night all perfectly viable options but you didn’t like those did you !

All I can say is that you and I have a very different interpretation of the phrase "viable option".

if it is financially dead and in debts which cannot be repaid then there are no 'viable options'

Also none of the names he named are businessmen in any sense of the definition.

They should count up who has had the most to say about the BDO on fora and social media over the last 10 years and put them in charge. Clearly they will have the most passion and knowledge for the role.

I would never be interested in running the BDO. I'm not the right guy for a number of reasons

They need to appoint someone to liquidate it. So like Paddy said on here, maybe someone from KPMG....
