And if anyone has yet to the see the first series of True Detective then make sure you do. Utterly brilliant, best thing for years.

Justified - amazon all series
Hap & Leonard - amazon all series
Outlander - amazon currently on series 5

I'm not OK with this - Netflix just one series so far but promising

Got Britbox so definitely recommend the following:
Morse - the original and still the best
Endeavour - excellent
Vera - why aye mon
Inside Number 9 - weird and funny

Take the opportunity to learn a new skill with your spare time. The free app "duolingo" is great for learning a new language.

Just finished watching Hunters. Ok but not brilliant.

Never watched the West Wing, so think I might start tomorrow.

ITV's Marcella - am I the only one that thought this was absolute dross?
Have you watched Manifest yet Nick. Have watched the first 5 episodes of Season 1.

This is actually similar to Timeless, which I really enjoyed watching.

Just watching the first episode of Gangs of London.

Pretty violent and looks like it might take a few episodes to get into, but that's my watching tv sorted for the next 3 days.

Signed up to BritBox, love my crime shows so have watched the full sets of:
Endeavour
Morse
Vera
A Touch Of Frost
DCI Banks
Midsomer Murders
Life On Mars
Ashes To Ashes

Plus a bit of:
Poirot
Miss Marple
Father Brown

For me it's been well worth the £6 subscription.

Just watched afterlife2 on Netflix, usual Ricky Gervais setup mixes comedy and sadness together perfectly.
Might try and find Rebus and watch the Ken Stott ones.

Any recommendations?

Broadchurch
Whitechapel
Hinterland
Shetland
Luther
Sherlock

Dunno if any of them are on britbox but I enjoyed them all.

Death in paradise is a guilty pleasure. Its formulaic and a bit far fetched but in terms of playing "whodunnit" its quite good fun.

Seen them all, loved Luther but the last series was a bit weird, used to like death in paradise but can't take to Ardel O'Hanlan as the detective, I keep expecting someone to hold up a plastic cow and explain the physics of distance.

Just started "In The Dark" on Netflix, halfway through and it's OK so far.

I was expecting to feel the same about Dougal, but I think he turned out to be my favourite one.

"The stranger" and "safe" on netflix are both quite good.

If you like Rebus Nick, you will find Messiah also starring Ken Stott brilliant.

I think I watched that years ago, might watch it again soon thanks John. Ken Stott is a great actor, watched the Nigel Slater biography film with him in which was decent.

Currently on the last episode of "the five" on sky, Harlan Coben book adaption, God that guy writes complicated twisted plots, difficult to follow everything but good.
