"Something is rotten in the state of Denmark"

This was a huge decision and counties should all have given the playing members a say.

Any county making the decision by committee only will find the "top echelons suffering tremendous uprisings from the bottom".

If a Yorkshire breakaway team forms, its because there is a demand for it. Ie the majority of current players want to move. So it will be the team that switches that will be the "real" team.

Not long left now for teams to show which way there going

Have a feeling a couple will change there mind after EGM's have been called over choices to stay in the BICC.

I predict 40+ teams giving a total of 5 leagues of around 8-9 per league in the first season in 2021.

Excellent. The remaining teams will be such a small group that they may as well give best and move over as well.

Of course they may have heard that that Tony Martin character is involved.... :D :D :D

Should get rid of him because he is starting to post like the BDO lot. Clean slate required.

God rest Alf Garnett and Prince Phil.

But not Yorkshire!

The final tally should be interesting. The way the ukda Facebook page has reported developments has been very good to watch to be honest.

are ukda considering regionalisation under the prem league?

That might be a tough sell at this juncture given ukda have stated the current league structure will be replicated as far as possible. Teams in levels 2 and 3 may feel a loss of place if moving to a regional model (and bottom tier teams may struggle).

It makes sense from a travel perspective but would represent a change of direction and I expect ukda will want to minimise any negative feedback in the early running.

Maybe after a year or two and a vote from all the counties (requiring a significant rather than a strict majority)?

Is the UKDA going to use the same format? I.e have B teams? Surely this is an opportunity to overhaul the format and numbers participating?

Same format. Still very much a "darts for all" ethos. Which is superb.
