Well played Sousa.
Re: 2020 PDC European Tour
Lovely stuff
Re: 2020 PDC European Tour
wow, that was some display from de Sousa. Happy for him, and also glad that MvG did not stumble to the title on his C-game (at least for most of the tournament).
Re: 2020 PDC European Tour
Quality performance in the final. Not many could have competed with that. Well done Jose.
MVG used to have players half beaten before the match but not any more. Not for a while now.

Re: 2020 PDC European Tour
When I've got to chose between around 6 EUR/month and malware polluted crap streams the decision is not that hard. I honestly wonder how people won't afford that, while they probably guzzle down pints worth the annual subscription price every time they chuck some darts in the pub or at a tournament.

Agreed. Great addition to the Slam.phil davies wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 10:08 pm Jose is a ludicrous talent and it’s good to see him win and get into the GSOD.
Also a very good weekend for Darius which puts him in both the EC and the Worlds.

Jose the latest player realising that since Michael van Gutless lost his confidence he is just another twitching bottle job and when pressured will fall apart like cheap toilet paper, no wonder Barney is coming back

There are many millionaires with big houses and just like Michael van Gutless whose arsehole fell out sometime last year, they'll be winning feck all darts tournaments in future either, except they probably aren't gibbering green bottle jobs as well.

Some parts of Germany are going into lockdown. I wonder how long the fans will be allowed to attend these.

Re: 2020 PDC European Tour
Gerwyn Price will begin his quest for a third consecutive International Darts Open title against either Mario Vandenbogaerde or Ross Smith, with the draw and schedule of play confirmed for this weekend's European Tour event.
Price picked up his first European Tour success at the event in 2018 before repeating the feat in 2019, and the Welshman will await the winner of Vandenbogaerde versus Smith, one of 16 first round contest to take place on Friday.
The year's fourth and final European Tour event will be played in front of fans at the Sachsenarena in Riesa from October 23-25, with players battling to make it into the top 32 of the European Tour Order of Merit to qualify for the European Championship.
Former European Tour event winner and German number one Max Hopp will face Jelle Klaasen in the stand-out tie of round one, while Steve West takes on Toni Alcinas in a crucial game in the race to qualify for the European Championship.
The 16 seeded players will enter at the second round stage on Saturday, headlined by the world's top two Michael van Gerwen and Price as well as last weekend's European Darts Grand Prix winner Jose De Sousa.
From the original field of players Kyle Anderson, Peter Wright, Glen Durrant, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Ryan Murray and Niels Zonneveld have withdrawn.
De Sousa and Stephen Bunting - who is returning to action alongside Adrian Lewis this weekend - become seeded players, and six additional Host Nation Qualifiers come into the event.
The line-up for the International Darts Open will be completed on Thursday night, with eight places up for grabs at the Host Nation Qualifier - click here to follow live scores, results and stats from the qualifier through DartConnect.
The European Darts Grand Prix will be broadcast through PDCTV as well as through a series of bookmakers' websites worldwide - click here to subscribe to PDCTV.
