Gregory messed up big time going back on his decision to switch. Even being past his best, he'd have had 6-7 years of having to beat washed-up legends and Yank jobbers to get into major quarters and semis. OK, he'd run into Phil or Dennis and be taught a lesson, but actually getting to that stage would be like shelling peas.
