2011: Arron Monk (2020 struggling on the challenge tour)
2012: James Hubbard (2020 struggling on the challenge tour)
2013: Michael Smith (Top 10 player but hasn't won a big event yet)
2014: Keegan Brown (Amongst 32-40 in the rankings, perhaps this is his level)
2015: Max Hopp (Shows promise but is unlikely to be a top 10 player soon)
2016: Corey Cadby (Off the field activites have done this lad)
2017 & 2018: Dimitri Van Der Bergh: World Matchplay Champion, Will be a top 10 player
2019: Luke Humphries: Talented, but unlikely to be in the top 16 in the next few years

Aspinall, MVG, Ricky Evans, Josh Payne, RJR, Martin Schindler Adam Gawlas. Losing finalists not done so bad either.

I think Merv is peaking now, I know it's taken him a couple of years but I truly believe he could win this and become an unstoppable force in future competitions, could take over now from Van Gerwin as the new good thing.....

2013: Ricky Evans (A Player like Keegan Brown will bounce of the lower end of the top 32)
2014: Rowby John (Doesn't have what it takes to get to the next level

2016: Berry Van Peer (Dartitis, But is still showing some promise)
